The mantis is a small green insect, not usually known to be a totem animal.
It is acknowledged as if “praying” to god, due to its strange posture. It is known to be peaceful, tranquil, quiet, and give calmness in life. Small, indistinguishable when it is familiar surroundings. The strengths of this totem is that when one put’s their guard down it strikes. Thus, the life of the praying mantis never moves without being sure. It never makes a mistake and thinks everything through, always keeping its composure – this totem animal signifies the calm before a storm.
